Welcome to the website for Saltdean Primary School:
 Saltdean School is a primary school receiving children at the age of 4+ and offering a Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 education.
At the end of this period the children transfer to secondary education (Key Stage 3) at the age of 11. At the moment the school has approximately 440 children on roll and there is a first year limit of 60 places.
There are three playgrounds and a large field. The school is well equipped for all the needs of the children in their primary years.

School & Buildings
 There are two main buildings within close proximity of each other, which were built in 1968 and 1972. These include spacious halls, several practical areas and quiet rooms, ICT suite, a modern library, small teaching areas as well as class bases. A spacious new extension to the north building was completed in 2004 which provides us with a library, staffroom and a classroom.
